Arizona has quite a story behind her. Thrown in my yard as a chick to be attacked by my other chickens. (For the entertainment of brats in the neighborhood) I raised her up very friendly and sweet (for a Redhead) Her sister Dakota joined us 30 minutes later. I brooded them in the house and trained them (that life isn’t as cruel as they were meant to believe) baby picture:View attachment 2935448

Poor Arizona, she hangs out by herself away from the other birds, walks around her nest, like she’s looking for something. She won’t set anymore, so I took her back inside with me. It’s supposed to be Jaffar’s turn tonight, and I think I’m cheating him out of his movie night. It’s okay though, I’m still not feeling well anyways.

Keep Arizona close, she deserves all the love she can get

I used to be a Nurse....

Even here Nurses this day and age are seriously lacking in proper 'hands on care'. They have too much theory (read university training), and not enough practicum (read old fashioned training).

Anyways I guess that is what they call progress. Used to be we had community nurses (I was one) now it seems that is no more...

One thing I am certain of: best decision I ever made was to get out Nursing! Better pay, benefits, holiday, etc in the real world.

Communication is dying on every level there are very few people capable of understanding each other anymore.

You can still help people in every day life . Once a nurse always a nurse it's in your blood

I've not been around so much lately.

I seem to be finding people that I haven't seen for decades over this past 3 months.

I will be changing my phone because it's crashing all the time and even though it should be replaced I was told it's not going to happen, so giving up and I've purchased another one.

As soon as everything is sorted I will be back to normal.

It's so exciting to find one friend I knew as a child, we were like family even his mother had me close too her. This beautiful lady is still with us and as wonderful as she always was. So it's a very happy and exciting time for me. Wish me luck and leaving you all with my friendship and love

Just wanted to share something with my chook friends; yesterday I passed my Jishukan brown-belt grading! It was quite a tough slog, especially during Covid, but black-belt will be much tougher!
