One of us isn’t ready to spend the night in the coop yet. I will let her visit, and then take her inside later tonight. She’s hanging out with her sister Hen-Rietta at the moment. (My other Leghorn)I think that's very wise.

Yep, cute!I only caught the tail end of it, but thought you guys would enjoy this display by Cashew.
If you were to make a change, RC, what change would it be?I think you are right MJ. Meanwhile I am regretting all the choice of roosting spots I built into the Chicken Palace because they seem to be causing a lot of roosting anxiety right now.
Poor Diana seems to believe that she is never in the best place - she went up to bed and down again and back up again 10 times this evening before settling!
Rest in peace, Sansa. Bob, I’m glad you spent some time with them, even though it was raining.Goodbye to a Friend
Today I said goodbye to another friend. This time in the pouring rain. The rest of the tribe watched from the open door to the complex wishing it would stop so they could come out and enjoy the yard but alas it did not.
She is buried next to Patsy. Both of Lilly's friends together. Someday Lilly will join them but hopefully not for a long time yet.
Goodbye my friend, rest in peace.

Because there was no real free ranging today, I hung out with them in the run. I can't really tell what if any changes are happening in the tribe as a result of their loss. Once i see any I will share.
Sydney did spend some in the Cluckle Hut today.

I am not really sure - it has all been just fine until Minnie got sick and decided to roost on her own on a roost that is actually designed for baby chicks who come out of a little door in the brooder to give them a safe place to observe the world from.If you were to make a change, RC, what change would it be?
My change would be…. Give all my chickens Social Security numbers, By law, consider them children, and set up retirement accounts for each one! (That’s why nobody asks for my opinion)If you were to make a change, RC, what change would it be?
I'm sure she will settle again soon. There is a lot of transition with your group right now.I think you are right MJ. Meanwhile I am regretting all the choice of roosting spots I built into the Chicken Palace because they seem to be causing a lot of roosting anxiety right now.
