That is heartbreaking to see.Hen-Rietta is so sad losing her sister. She’s wandering the yard looking for Beetov-HenI cannot afford (emotionally) to dwell on this too long.

Yup. Turkey vulture
I dont know, I have turkey vultures nesting next door and the wing pattern/shape isn't the same. I spent a lot of time watching them flying! Amazing birds.... Can't flap worth crap, but they sure can soar!!!!Yup. Turkey vulture

But you would be lucky if it were turkey vultures as they do not hunt, their talons are too weak to grasp and kill like a hawk.
Fluffy is a very useful chicken to have around. Daisy is my resident snake eater. I really do not want to know how many she has eaten, 5 that I know of. It has to be more because she has her technique for killing them down pat. She grabs them behind the head and gives a quick shake to pop off their heads. She eats the body and leaves the heads.OK lets see if I posted this to YouTube correctly:
