I thought it might be a silkie cross. Lovely photos of her.They are all the same hen, Sansa. Something was very wrong with Sansa and when she molted in September her feathers did not grow back properly. That first picture is Sansa after her molt.

It would be very late in the year for turkey vultures in your area though. They fly south around Oct/Nov.Very helpful and I now know more of what to look for.
I think this one was a Turkey Vulture - it definitely had a 'V' to how it held its wings.

Well you learn something every day. I looked it up. I have two types of vulture - Turkey Vultures which are here all year round and Black Vultures where I am just on the edge of their year-round habitat.Hmmm. That is odd.
