They are all the same hen, Sansa. Something was very wrong with Sansa and when she molted in September her feathers did not grow back properly. That first picture is Sansa after her molt.
I thought it might be a silkie cross. Lovely photos of her.

Very helpful and I now know more of what to look for.
I think this one was a Turkey Vulture - it definitely had a 'V' to how it held its wings.
It would be very late in the year for turkey vultures in your area though. They fly south around Oct/Nov.

I lay in bed at night and plan my covered run to keep my chickies safe.... Yep crazy chicken lady 😆

I swear I have seen them year round my whole life. Are you sure they migrate from here?

Hmmm. That is odd. I think I have Turkey Vultures year round. They sometimes assemble in large numbers on the top of my chimney (keeping their toes warm I assume!)

Well you learn something every day. I looked it up. I have two types of vulture - Turkey Vultures which are here all year round and Black Vultures where I am just on the edge of their year-round habitat.

Of course they migrate! They all follow the swallows carrying coconuts 🥥! Everybody knows that Turkey Vultures just love coconuts! :clap:old
