Feisty little madam, currently has the two salmons holed up in the enclosed part of the tractor. I had to put separate food and water in there because she won't let them out.
She looks a right bossy britches. Just the ticket for a happy flock :D
 
Integration Day 8, continued
The other thing that really warmed my heart today happened after I had an early dinner and came back out. All 6 came running to see me. Aurora led the way of course but the newbies came running as well. :love

I remember one time I came home and my husband had let out all the girls, and baby Bessie came running up to me. My heart melted! Of course, she wouldn’t let me touch her! :gig

There are some very good chicken photographers on these threads with some very photogenic chickens! 😍
It always makes me sad when they molt. It looks so uncomfortable.

Edwina (on the left) refused to come out from under the bush :rolleyes:

The little white dots on her shoulder and wing are where the new feathers are coming in. She has no tail left and most of her butt fluff is being replaced.
