I’m having Jaffar inside as a house guest tonight. He usually sleeps alone on his perch in the coop, (but not tonight) He will have Arizona as company.

Phyllis Talks to Me

@micstrachan commented the other day on the sound, trill, that Phyllis makes stopping her hens in their tracks. I got a very good recording of her doing it today. As I said she talks to me like this all the time. I wish I knew what it really meant.

All my gang make that sound I call it their whining sound when they want something.... I hear it all the time.
