On the muntin, the grill cross-piece of the window, is what I thought. She was looking to land on it. That's why she did the full-body slam. The glass does not figure into the equation...Into a door! Where was she hoping to land?

I think she learned her lesson. I've seen her look but turn away. I'm glad she learned. On the muntin, the grill cross-piece of the window, is what I thought. She was looking to land on it. That's why she did the full-body slam. The glass does not figure into the equation...
I'm jumping back and forth but earlier saw Betty get tons of exercise looking for an alternative roost. It is clear she would LOVE to get on top of the Hut. Is there any space up there? You will never get her off if she gets up there....I think she learned her lesson. I've seen her look but turn away. I'm glad she learned.
About 2 inches of space on top of the Hut. She will never fit. I planned for that.I'm jumping back and forth but earlier saw Betty get tons of exercise looking for an alternative roost. It might not be her "foot" exactly, her pain could be anywhere on her leg or up into her hip. She may not be in need of a foot soaking, just rest. I hope to read she has improved but at @RoyalChick said, it could take many weeks, or some months.Good morning
I haven't time to catch up yet.
My Tina us on the third day with a bad foot. It's really cold here this us so worrying because soaking her foot then putting her back in the cold is just cruel

You have to see this commercial
It gave me a much needed smile today.
What kind are your cameras? Can you use them for watching the chickens?I looooove my new security cameras.
They've got motion-sensing lights and video.
If I see someone on the live feed, I can talk to them through the camera.
They connect to my wifi.
They hold two weeks of videos before replacing the old ones with new ones, so there are no ongoing server fees and the data privacy is high.
I can take snaps from the videos, eg of people's faces.
They're wired to the electricity so I don't need to worry about the batteries going flat (an important consideration for me).
Best part is I can see what's going on in the back porch through the live feed and shoo the pigeons away or watch the hens relaxing.
I forgot about that one. Hysterical!I showed this to my husband tonight. He loved it. Thanks for sharing Bob.
