Spent some time in the coop waiting for the stragglers....and the ones who went back out..... Jess rearranged her eggs. Saw 1 large brown egg (I think Pear has been laying those so at least 1 of adult size), 3 white eggs, all while she moved at least 1 more that I couldn't see. By my math, 5 (+?) Eggs. The white eggs are laid by Nellie (brown leghorn), Thing (mottled houdan), and 1 of the sapphires (haven't been able to determine Splash vs Blanche on that). Who's eggs Jess is on there, no idea. Wasn't going to try to look that closely. haven't seen any from Storm in the last few days so maybe one of hers, could be a brown or a blue. So far, her instincts are good with turning eggs.

Invading The Hut
Phyllis was in the main coop when the invasion occurred. I think some hens were bored and needed someplace new to hang out. The raiders were enjoying themselves chatting away.

Oh my gosh, Bob! I’m behind due to my move situation. Are they fully integrated now? Or at least sharing both quarters?

This is the scoop, apparently in the US Henny Penny is known as Chicken Little, in all cases of the story's idiom is the premise that the sky is falling, which is more or less equates to fearmongering ; thus the poor Pentagon Hen, may in fact have been trying to go see the king (someone there knows their Brothers Grimm!):
