I thought having this on hand would be good as the nearest possible vet is two hours away and we aren't established with them.

Question: The Baytril is available at that store Allbirdproducts but they are out of the Amoxy-tyl powder. I registered to be emailed when that comes in.

Then I tried to look up what they each were and find the equivalent. The below copy/paste is from a store called Terri's Glamourous Gouldians, or Lady Gouldians Finch Supplies https://www.glamgouldians.com/shop.php. Is it reputable? Does this appear to be equivalent to the Allbirdproducts items that you linked to? Or should I buy the Baytril in the original place and wait for restocking, or buy the other (or both) here?

The amoxy-tyl looks the same as what I have. The Baytril on this site is generic and I can't speak for it but I think it would be ok. All Bird Products has Bayer's brand name Baytril. I have never used this site and can't speak to if they are real or not.

I can not tell you how happy that made me to see today. She was with the tribe the whole time. It was wonderful.

I am back to considering a treadle feeder because the pigeons are feasting on the pellets I put in the back porch. What the heck, I'll just go ahead and get one.

I would like to see training videos if possible please.

This is for everyone who does not have access to a good chicken vet. In my opinion there are 2 antibiotics which you need to keep on hand in case of a trauma or outbreak of illness, Baytril and Amoxy-Tyl. Between the two they cover nearly all bacteria that could cause infections including mycoplasma and anaerobic infections.

The issue is always when you don't have them and need them. It takes time to get them. That time lost waiting can be a big problem.

Impossible to get any sort of antibiotics here without a Vet, luckily my Equine Vet knows I was a Nurse and has an excellent 35+ year established relationship with me, luckily I just email him and he can get me my animals meds. I also have a good small animal Vet who is a good avian vet (must phone her tomorrow about Henny Penny).

Yes there is a chicken in there somewhere but it is hard to find her.

Yes. Hens will reject non-developing eggs from the nest. Not always but some will.

Some like to sit on them stubbornly anyway until they explode underneath them and you have a stinky sticky chicken and a coop you can hardly go into for the smell…

Ya... No roast beast, mash potatoes and gravy.... Oh u know I find it morbidly fascinating that the chickens gobble up roast chicken and mash potatoes and gravy with the fixings like crazy

I asked my mum today while at work 'whats for supper?', she said roast chicken breast with the bone in, just like your dad liked.

I then asked her 'who is missing'? To which she asked what I meant... I said to her which chicken was missing.... She still didn't get it. Ha! I had to explain, then she told me I wasn't funny...

That roast chicken breast was awesome the skin crispy and salty yummy I told Dixie Chickie, and Dicky Boy they would be enjoyed as such also

Mum still doesn't think I was funny
