Ya... No roast beast, mash potatoes and gravy.... Oh u know I find it morbidly fascinating that the chickens gobble up roast chicken and mash potatoes and gravy with the fixings like crazy

I asked my mum today while at work 'whats for supper?', she said roast chicken breast with the bone in, just like your dad liked.

I then asked her 'who is missing'? To which she asked what I meant... I said to her which chicken was missing.... She still didn't get it. Ha! I had to explain, then she told me I wasn't funny...

That roast chicken breast was awesome the skin crispy and salty yummy I told Dixie Chickie, and Dicky Boy they would be enjoyed as such also

Poppy is gone. I went out to let everyone loose this morning and while opening the door to the coop Poppy flew off the roost and crashed into the door. Thankfully it was quick and she was gone almost instantly although I'm shattered and been in tears all day.

I am so sorry for your loss… it’s never easy and some of the things that happen are just so random and unpredictable.

Holy cow! Just had all the snow load on my side of the house come crashing down, the house shook! I have had the barn roof snow coming off this week, scared the living crap out of the chickens! They all ran to the hen house for 'safety' on Monday! It makes quite the noise when it come off the steel roofs!

I thought having this on hand would be good as the nearest possible vet is two hours away and we aren't established with them.

Question: The Baytril is available at that store Allbirdproducts but they are out of the Amoxy-tyl powder. I registered to be emailed when that comes in.

Then I tried to look up what they each were and find the equivalent. The below copy/paste is from a store called Terri's Glamourous Gouldians, or Lady Gouldians Finch Supplies https://www.glamgouldians.com/shop.php. Is it reputable? Does this appear to be equivalent to the Allbirdproducts items that you linked to? Or should I buy the Baytril in the original place and wait for restocking, or buy the other (or both) here?

Lady Gouldians Finch is good, and will ship their “pet supplies” to many locations. Although the delivery has been a little slow, in 2020/2021, the pet supplies and Bob’s dosing information finally started clearing Roostie’s foot issues up.

@ BY Bob Was she her usual overly cautious self, or did she seem to be enjoying herself & doing chickeny things like scratching with gusto??

She seemed to let it go and was more herself than she had ever been since the attack. She even reminded Sydney that she is above her in pecking order once......... just because.

In a way I agree about the molting pictures but I just can’t get over how darn uncomfortable it looks and that is what gets me distressed.
In these pictures of her she looks happy but in the ones that set me off she just looked like a little ball of painful, itchy misery!

It can be so hard to see them like that.
