I know what what they are saying.A formal complaint
The Princesses have let it be known that they are not happy.
I feel they have a lot to be unhappy about. Me too!

Only a couple of inches so far but icy. The power already went out and the wind is picking up.
I am retreating with a mug of hot chocolate.
Hahaha I used to be mean to citiot, but then one day I was downtown Toronto and lost my car in the underground parking at First Canadian Place building..... Huge facilities... They asked me 'what letter and number' I was parked at..... ?Oh yes, I am sooo glad too!
Country vs city short story: my band was playing a barn wedding in our area, high-end but in the countryside here. Lots of downstate New York City & Long Island folk attending. It gets dark outside. At break a lady near us starts to talk about how dark it is out there and that there are no street lights, you can't see anything and it's scary to drive. My band mate says to her, "What is there to see? You might see a cow....or a deer actually. What are you afraid of?" She doesn't know; basically she has a vague fear of crime. He says, "They are all law-abiding. Usually."![]()
Our haul from the last 3 days.Reading that just made me really hungry and reminded me I went out without breakfast.
I am going to have eggs. I only have 2 eggs and I am going to have both of them right now!
Very egg-citingI know this is going to make me sound absolutely nuts but here goes. I've been a nervous wreck all weekend. Today is supposed to be hatch day for the 18 eggs my cousin got off me. I know she is busy so I have not messaged her to see how they are going, but I may tomorrow. These are not my babies so I should not be nervous, but, if they hatch they will be the first Squirrel and Raven chicks. She also has 2 eggs from Chiquita and Branch plus 2 cochin mix eggs. I know she is super excited about these chicks and I hope she has a great hatch rate. In a way I wish she had not reminded me Tuesday when she picked up her 2 dozen eggs that today is hatch day. It is killing me knowing that if something goes wrong I'm not there to hover and try and catch it. Well actually this whole process has been stressful for me as it is her first time using a incubator and she's asked me several tips throughout the process. I've given her the best advice I could but I'm not there to see how her incubator is working. She's promised to send me pictures when they hatch. It is the 2 silkie eggs I'm really hoping hatches. I want to go celebrate with Branch and tell him he's a daddy!
No, it is a flying squirrel (they actually glide, not 'fly')Is that a bat?
Dairy allergies...I love this line
Also, that means they shouldn't use leather, glue, etc made from animal parts. The trouble is, humans are OMNIVORES (as @Shadrach frequently reminds us about chickens!)
We certainly can reduce our 'footprint' per se, but it is better, imo, to eat ethically/humanely/sustainably raised animal 'products' than eating highly processed items made from unsustainable plant mono-cultures. (Basically, the plant version of factory farming) However, it is extremely difficult in this day and age to be sure everything we eat/use is ethically/humanely & sustainably raised/made/processed.
What's a person to do...there is only so much of my own needs that I can reasonably create/raise myself (partially because I still have to work full-time just to pay home taxes, insurance, health
No, they were climbing on a large pine...at just about eye height (one was scared & nestling in a branch notch about 15' up) the other one kept wanting to come down the trunk....scurrying around it...to my height, then scooting up, then scurrying down...it was so magical of a moment!Did u see them 'flying' thru the air? So awesome!
