It’s a grain mixture that I don’t know contains. I only picked it up from the mill . Came in an unmarked burlap sack with a lot number on it.

I'd be interested in a pic of this mixture.

Looks like turkey vultures, they don't hunt, but scavange.

Poor silkie gals harrassed by Pangoo - and the other naughty boys. It can't be nice on their new feathers coming in having naughty Roos trying to breed them....

I made the decision to have the Roos processed, Pangoo is too big for the silkies and he is harrassing all the hens. All the Roos are.

Guess who is early here this year? By about a week and a half… or at least this One was… I haven’t seen any yet, but with the hunters I might be seeing them around. Can’t wait until they start really cleaning up some of the winter casualties. Eagles will only scavenge to a certain point then they move onto less ripe snacks, like little baby lambs…
