My service (free for low income folks) is switching networks. I checked with them and the new carrier that my phone was good, bought the new sim card, my phone isn't compatible. They are sending me a new free phone which will be a downgrade from mine. While the new phone ships my current phone has no cell service. So I am without call/text until the new one arrives.

That sucks about the phone. Hope the new one arrives soon and isn't too much of a downgrade.

@rural mouse it turns out taking close up pictures of combs is not as easy as I thought. Little wrigglers! Also, I have a chipmunk photo-bomber.
I am starting with the blue one. I swear that comb wasn’t there this morning. It looks straight to me based on your description of how to tell the difference. I think I see little ridges. So cute!

You're right. Lil' Blue has a straight comb.

OK. I will try the black one next. She has cute black legs with pink feet. She kicks them a lot!
:lau
Foot color is about the only way to tell the different between giants and australorps.....the BOTTOM of the foot. One is white and one is yellow and the difference is hard to see. The white tends to look more pinkish. As adults, their eyes are different colors too.

OK! I will try for comb and feet. The black one is practicing flying so is bouncing all over the place and a bit hard to pin down.

What are the colors of their eyes, respectively?

Grey doesn't exist. Lavender is every feather is same shade (whole feather). Blue is feather patterned in shades of gray or has dark/light shades on body. If Storm were black/white or black/gold, the feather pattern would be laced because feathers are edged in darker tone. Because it's shades of grey, it's just blue. Because the head is dark and body lighter, it's also blue.
Head is darker.......Body is lighter. 🤔

I guess you mean much darker than Hattie's head.
