I have never heard of a tattoo shop suggesting hemorrhoid cream for any part of the healing process, it has no painkilling properties, and I just can’t wrap my head around that. I have heard of some places using a lidocaine gel prior to tattooing, but most here won’t for fear of contamination as these are meant to be used externally and a tattoo is millions of tiny puncture wounds filled with ink. Most here also won’t ink someone under a mind altering substance either, drug or alcohol. I would suggest avoiding that shop… I have a couple tattoos, want a fair amount more, and had one heavily inked family member, and a lot of heavily tattooed friends. From the age of about five when I started asking for one I was told it hurts, and IMO if you can’t deal with that, keeping it clean, and doing proper aftercare (which has
never included prep H!) you shouldn’t be getting one. Now, I need to take more tax pictures… sigh I planned on testing and spray painting (not at the same time!) the propane stove for the free camper project… I’m sure the chickens will try to “help” with that
