That little chick is watching her mother's every moveSome very important lessons are being taught today.
Raven is teaching her chick the best place to dig for bugs. She has finally brought it to the back yard and has spent all morning digging.
Baby is teaching her group that the best place to dust bath in private is beside Dirt's stall.
Talk of all these colored eggs has my head spinning. So everyone gets a treatthat is wonderful.
I had 8 dozen eggs, my sister went and took all the pink and 'brown' eggs left the blue, green and olive ones as she stated the one lady won't buy them her kids think they are duck eggs and won't eat them...
My parents would tell me to go hungry!
So now all I have is blue, olive and green eggs hahaha.
Until tomorrow when I will get 4 more pinkish Silke eggs!!!
I’d love to know the recipe!I can send you the recipe for the brandy, it's made in a bucket and takes 40 days
It full of healthy fruit so it's all healthy - so I am told hahaha!
You can't do more than that for him.It is not one that has been taken lightly. The white on Basil's tail and now wing feather is called parasitic white. The majority of lines carry it. Depending on who you talk to some claim all lines carry it. I'm ok with a few white toe feathers, that can pop up due to feather damage as well, but any where else it is not good. The white on Basil's tail showed up around his 5/6 month old juvenile molt. I wanted to place him then, but Rosie was attached and then I lost Drummie. The wing feather showed up at the end of his 1 year molt. This means after every molt he is going to get more and more white feathers. Bubba has always had better coloring and I like his build better. He does have 3 toe feathers with white tips. Basil has his good points, he will make someone a wonderful flock rooster and I will ensure before he leaves he has such a home.
