I have a hen who eats like that from my hand all the time!!! (Yes, I still feed her from my hand as I am trying to get her to be more comfortable & gentle!)

I know I shouldn't but I always share a treat with one of the girls if they are in the coop at the time the goodies are handed out.

Hello Everyone! Apologies for the long absence. I got logged out and never found the time to log in until now. School is out, but I still have many projects for the summer, but I'll try to catch up.

You are all probably aware of the avian flu. For protection, my four have been staying in the "funplex".

I also received my first fairy egg.

May 12, I payed tribute to my first two: Cinnabar and Creamsickle.

And recently we had movie night. We watched chicken little.

I hope everyone is doing alright. I'll catch up soon.

I think they are looking much better than when you first described it!!!! Is he able to grab a perch/roost with that foot/toe okay? If so, I am sure he will adapt to walking, and it will continue to improve over time (or his adaptation will get better, one or the other!)
