I sure hope they did.I would think so, as long as she’s not too clumsy. Have to go check my broody beastie soon to see if those pips made it!

It is very unusual for this to happened. It is the tail end of actual flu season. You can still expect another different strain late this year.I had not heard that. But isn’t it a bit early? I don’t normally get my flu shot until November!
Ouch!My 2fer isn’t working today. The funds in my wallet sure don’t match the prices on this sign!

Again, she ate it all! If anyone doesn't believe that purple corn is preferred, these pictures are good proof. It's crazy. Aurora flicks the yellow corn out of my hand and onto the ground.Hmmm, no purple corn on that seat, either!![]()

I love that you had to remind her by poking her.How a broody chicken normally gets hand fed: gently, calmly…

Vs how Goldie eats from a hand while Broody, assuming she’s not trying to take actual chunks out of the hand and is settling for her third handful of pellets. The frenzy and biting has calmed down enough by this point that I could video with the non target hand. Apparently I can’t count and we have a total of three chicks one yellow one chipmunk and the other is still wet. Thankfully the rotting egg smell has left so I’m hoping it was just the two bad eggs I tossed last night.

You are all probably aware of the avian flu. For protection, my four have been staying in the "funplex".

I don't like hawks.HAWK! All the ladies ran towards Jaffar and back in the coop. The hawk just flew over, circled and then left the area. (Red tail hawk) . Close call![]()
