Thanks for this. I will read it. I had two in a short period of time die from ovarian cancer (confirmed by necropsy). One I actually had euthanized once I felt she probably had it.

I sure hope they did.

In the background you can also see what remained of the broody poop hand cleaning episode. I tossed Goldie out for a drink and quickly got this.

There are at least two under grey mama as well, unless I smell something going bad under her I will be leaving her be for a few more days, as she had a lot more eggs left than Goldie.

The box fan I had in the coop for the chooks, stopped working this evening. It’s 92f in there right now, so I need to put in another one pronto! My poor feathered family.

Yes flu vaccine comes out Oct/Nov. Any vaccine out there now will be from last year's variants. Oh isn't it just a tangled web that's wove with all the stuff one must do to stay hale and hearty

$2.29 for regular in town still over $2.42 for marked on island. Filled a jerry with marked diesel $52…
