I understand, not a day goes by that I don't think about my dad. I push the cancer patient out of my mind and remember the guy that thought it was funny to try to put a snake on me![]()

Not forget honorary Newfie… lol we really do need to be mailing out those merit badges! It is only an insult if it's intended to be. Someone can call me a redneck or a hillbilly and I don't feel insulted.
Hey Kris I am anxiously waitingNot forget honorary Newfie… lol we really do need to be mailing out those merit badges!

I think sometimes the occasional loner isn’t too hard done by, and that given time things will settle. I have found some odd friendships and pairings arise here, and occasionally I have one hen go rogue by choice. It is hard. It always seems like I have one that is off on its own. I feel like I will be chasing this forever. I worry that I will never be able create a fully functioning tribe. This is one of the reasons why I was questing to find Phyllis a friend.
Hattie still is very cautious about open ground. Aurora is not. She leads the tribe about on adventures that I think Hattie finds to be a bad idea and hence doesn't join in.I think sometimes the occasional loner isn’t too hard done by, and that given time things will settle. All things considered I don’t blame her one bit for this. They have quite long memoriesHattie still is very cautious about open ground. Aurora is not. She leads the tribe about on adventures that I think Hattie finds to be a bad idea and hence doesn't join in.
Great advice Bob! I will try to remember to do the same. @micstrachan Here is your reminder for this September. This is very true. They go off feed and eat what helps them to grow feathers. That's why next year I'm switching to feather fixer in September before they start molting to pump up their protein reserves.
