Ahhh, I will think of this the next time Clara screams at me for looking at her in her nest. This is really a complimentI view this as the ultimate compliment. She finds your place to be safe enough to bring up babies!
My husband once was plagued by pain from a kidney stone and read about drinking a large quantity of Coke/Pepsi to dissolve the stone. He thought, "What do I have to lose?"You are a sweetheart for looking into this!
I assume what the coke brings is bubbles. That could be achieved with seltzer or bicarb. I will look into it because both would be alkaline and I don’t know if that is an issue.
No, it is not just the bubbles, because gingerale or sprite, etc, doesn't work. Something in COKE (pepsi works a bit, but Coke was the 'winner' in clearing feeding tubes by far.) There is something in it that helps eat away at the blockage. [note: warning for those of you who drink a lot of coke...it can/does eat away at stomach lining if too much/too if too often consumed!] Coke is definitely acidic. You are a sweetheart for looking into this!

Yup, but they aren't usually out mid-day. By the shadow of the Fox, I am guessing it is close (but not quite) 'high noon' (which is really 1pm with daylight savings) I'm guessing within an hour either way? Squirrels, however, are abundant/active then.Looks like the fox family sent the teenager off to restock the pantry today. Another squirrel I think.
Strange because there are loads (I mean loads) of bunnies around.

But that is Hattie, not Aurora!!!!
I worked with mechanics who used coke in their laundry to remove oil and grease from their work clothes but I never tried it.No, it is not just the bubbles, because gingerale or sprite, etc, doesn't work. Edit: They also mentioned 'cellulose' helps, too, in one of the articles. That didn't make sense to me as I thought cellulose was fiberous? And it wasn't clear if it needed to be prescribed or if it was something readily available.
It was 9:20am according to the security cam that alerted me to ‘a vehicle’ in the driveway.Yup, but they aren't usually out mid-day.
