With this and this roof replacement not turning up after taking our roof off I'm totally wiped out. Trying hard to keep going

Nothing worse than contractors not showing up to finish a job

Hopefully they get your roofing done soon!

If I set her, and I probably will, I will block off that box. It will make for angry hens for a few days but they will get over it. As far as Chiquita getting evicted, that will not happen. When Chiquita picks her spot to lay until she's laid she is not moving. Raven cannot even get her out, she gives up and gets in the box with her. Yesterday morning they were both in the box and Raven had her wing draped over her like she was a chick.

Awwwww! That's like Fluffy with Curly, she gets in curls box and gives her an egg hahaha - cuddles right up with her and hands off the egg to her

Good thing it is one of those 'chair and a half' recliners! (I got it for hubby so he would fit with him, as he insists he is a lap dog!)

I did, I pulled out about a liter. Cleaning a bottle now and will filter it as I pour it into the bottle shortly. It should go well with the blueberry cobbler that Angela is bringing. Having a pastry chef for a daughter is quite nice

There is one teeny, tiny problem I have to figure out if Chiquita goes full on broody. It is her nest location. The brat has chosen one of the porch boxes. The favorite porch box actually. Not only will this cause a issue with 3 of the other girls who all fight over that box, how am I going to sneak eggs under her without mom knowing. Any other spot and I could set her and pretend I did not know she was setting, but not on the porch. I will have grandma on my side though, she wants "Fuzzy" to hatch chicks. She even wanted me to give Bunny a "Fuzzy" egg when I set her. And yes, she is trying to rename another of my chickens. To everyone else now Bubba is "Big Red". She calls Branch "Big Bird" which mom loves more then Branch, and Chiquita is now "Fuzzy".

Hahahaha that is awesome

You have got to write a book - I will be the first to buy

I posted my Ezzie pics on facebook as well. Mom is still trying to curse me and pretty much told me she would be crowing soon and she could call him Ezra. Fine, you want to play that game, I let it be known that if Ezzie becomes Ezra he stayed and I would teach him to crow at her just like Branch on command.
