Having frizzles, trimming @ need is a must round here. The hardest part is getting them to hold still while you do it. Wrap chickie formly in a towel & use a football hold is my advice.
I get so freaked out when I have to trim the silkies top knots!!
 
Do you have fans you can move air around in the coop? That would be better and safer for the eggs.

Been cool and wet here, not much like June!
I just brought her and her three eggs inside. She’s enjoying the coolness of the house. Eggs are wrapped in a heating pad.

Why don’t you get a box or milk crate to put her in so she can sit on the eggs, and be cool 🤗
 
Yea and nerves of steel!

I sometimes just pluck out any lower eye feathers to be safe.
There was too much drama going on at roosting time for me to inspect and clip. Maybe at morning medication time everyone will be a bit less riled up.
