She didn't seem too worried about it, she seems very sensible.Betty Collects Trash
Mrs BY Bob just called me outside to help her. It seems Betty got her foot stuck in a piece of plastic today. It must have blown into the yard as I've never seen it before. She put up a real fuss when I caught her and took it off.
She also dropped a ton of feathers. I wonder if she is molting?

I will have to take a peek tonight when I am up roaming the floors at 2 amThere is a full and red moon Sunday or Monday - supposed to be spectacular - will have to see how the weather is.
I too keep those kinds of hours.
Interesting concept of 'being too independent'. You are correct that one should be wary of pride and accepting help.My view comes from a different cultural context, so it might seem odd, but It's a powerful moment for Rosie. If she can place the insult in the right context, it's a great time for her to develop deeper sympathy for an old lady who's not coping and who's lashing out. And to perhaps consider the detrimental effects of becoming too independent - her grandma's used to her independence and she's so angry now she has to receive care.

Both she and you might be happier and healthier with a professional leading her daily care team.
Yes that would be good if Rebecca could get homecare in for a couple times a day.

A Hospice or Social Worker told my sister - when you allow the medical / daily care help in, you are free to be the loving family for her, instead of having to be the daily care taskmasters.Ditto. In my family we knew that we couldn't (wouldn't) do it all ourselves again after a first round of several months and then a good recovery and independence regained. But it took that first round to know.
I just watched and listened and I love this one, Lozzy! Way to go!
