I woke up at a ridiculous hour again knowing workmen will be at my home early in the morning doesn't help plus my playing stories on my phone to help me sleep, this has to stop 🙃 what's the point when you have to switch off your phone then get a drink and of course it's then potty time again :wee:yesss::th
Reality sucks! :th

I did it. Everyone got their medicine. I don't think I made any mistakes - at least they all survived it well enough to get either mealy worm or egg (and in Minnie's case both) right after.
I think I can say syringing a chicken is now in my skill set. I feel more confident in doing it and I didn't need to directly visualize their windpipe - I did it by feel which made it quicker. Not that I want to make a habit of doing this of course, but at least I now know I can!
Now for all the trauma it is not clear that I have achieved anything. Maggie still has diarrhea and seems perfectly well with it; Diana never had any diarrhea to begin with; Dotty maybe has less diarrhea; and Minnie is in a pickle with her blocked crop.
Based on observed symptoms you would have to say things are roughly the same or maybe you would say worse because of Minnie.
Just a day and a half of miconazole for Minnie and then we can all catch our breath and reevaluate.
Great work. Not easy but you did it! It's amazing what we can do when we have to. :clap :clap :clap

Dear lord! 🤯
Crazy weather! Here we have only had 2 days so far above 30C. And a handful above 25c mostly been cool and wet.

I wish I could send them some cool rain, that heat is hard on livestock. Supposed to be 27 tomorrow and around 30C Wednesday here. My poor chickies really don't like when it's up and down like that ☹️
