But what bothers me the most, is the neighbors chickens all seem to be doing fine. If I have mice in the yard, his yard is sure to have them also. So where are the poisoned mice coming from? :idunno And who is stupid enough to be using poison around chickens anyways?
did she find it where it died or did it get tossed in after dying somewhere else?

They can eat mushrooms?!!

I don't let mine eat them I am too worried they would be poisonous!
What is poisonous to people isn't always poisonous to animals, birds, reptiles, fish, etc. On the other hand, the only ones I KNOW mine have had are from the store. Haven't seen any growing here.

I usually have them growing on the manure pile, in the warmer weather but I discourage the horses and chickens from eating stuff that I don't know of...

The picture of Aurora makes her look like a porcelain princess! 🥰

And lovely Sansa when her feathers were still glorious!:love

And, of course Hattie - big, fluffy, sweet Hattie. How could one not love her???😍😍
They really are lovable.

Whenever I sit under the tree I miss Sansa's little pecks on my leg for walnuts. Sometimes I even feel phantom pecks and look for her.

I received the dreaded phone call. :hitArizona was poisoned by eating a mouse. Her digestive system shut down due to rat poison contained in a mouse, found in her digestive tract. She didn’t stand a chance, against the quick acting poison.:(
That is very sad. You must have a neighbor who is using poison. :hugs :hugs:hugs
