You could try separating some out yourself BY Bob, make a mash and do a taste test!:D

Now that's funny. The corn is 90% yellow. They really need to pick through it for the purple ones. I'm wondering if I can find 100% purple corn for them.

That’s what scares me about automatic doors... and why I don’t really think they are worth the investment for me. I would still be going out every night just to be sure! It’s a good thing for Aurora you do too! I can’t imagine the poor girl out all night in a storm that bad.

I love my auto doors but I usually only have them open automatically and shut them manually. That way I can check that everyone’s ok at bedtime (and get in a sneaky cuddle).

The Really Big Coop

She ratted me out. Patsy showed the Littles where the entrance to my coop was. Now they won't leave.

I know the feeling! :) This is my flock (minus Bessie now, though). :(

Throw back, sure, but I am also now facing this dilemma, my free range gals have all figured out where I go, and where the mealie worms also may live... they stand on the steps and stare in, today one actually knocked on the closed outer door of the trailer. I opened the door and they perched on the threshold staring at the cats, and us. Considering they are better mousers than my cats, I actually considered maybe letting them have a sleep over in our “big coop”, but that’s a slippery slope indeed
