She’s in!

Charlie’s in the cage of shame. Lucy and Chickie have been a little concerned and are keeping her company. She’s on the ground but it’s windy today so I’m hoping that brings her body temperature down. If not, I can put her in a small cage tomorrow and elevate it.

I’ll see if I can upload the video of them licking the banana lounge; they do it to the packaging around the straw bale and wood shavings as well. Must like the feel of the plastic.

That is really........odd? I can't find the right word. I would really like to see that in action.

Hmm, not sure. She went diving for the henhouse last night making her broody noise. I’ll have to see how she is this morning.

Some people put kid's xylophones in with the chickens. You know those brightly coloured ones? I think your hens might like it.
