Omg her face is so funny, her face framed by those feathers like an old fashioned Victorian handlebar moustache! And the photo where she is under the Rose of Sharon Bush shows off her lovely coloring so well—Aurora is a fitting name for a hen of such ethereal beauty.

It really does, I love that beard! I think she is very pretty as well.

Oh Chickie!

Oh dear, Chickie’s eggs have been a bit worrying of late. I must find a big bottle of water calcium additive in addition to their breakfast. I don’t want to lose her, she’s a happy, friendly little thing!

Human calcium tablets for acid reflux work well, powdered and cooked in eggs. My girls seem to prefer the berry flavor to the peppermint, leaving the mint and citrus flavors for me.

This was eviction attempt #3 this afternoon as I was unloading the Jeep

All day long I was luring chickens out of various cars and trucks! As well as telling them the trailer is for cats and humans... “not for chickens! Out!!!”
