"yes, you're covered for accidental damage. What happened? "

"well I've got these online chicken friends, you see, and they were showing pictures of their sweet hennies inside their houses, so I invites mine in, forgetting the robovac was running. Anyway, I answered the phone and when I hung up 30 minutes later... "

I do believe @Shadrach is trying to inspire us all to throw open our doors and let the little fluffy butts inside! I don’t know that I could convince DH or my mother that this is really an accepted practice in most places...

@BlueBaby thats an impressive amount of catch up reading! And I start getting overwhelmed when I have 15-20 pages to catch up on ;) must spend more time on the chicken friends here,
Having chickens come and go as they please in your house isn't something I would recommend for most keepers. The mess and the work involved in cleaning up is incredible.
I live on my own and as houses go, mine is relatively easy to clean but it still needs cleaning every day.
What my situation has allowed me to do is study chicken behaviour that I would probably not otherwise see.

Don't you feel like they should be wearing leather jackets, smoking cigarettes snapping their feathers and singing a capella harmonies sometimes. Just hanging on the old stoop.
