The mini horse (Diva) is mean and tosses the sheep around. She lives on the property in the other side of the island with 2 other mini horses. And Horses eat a lot!!! We have 4 here 2 standardbred, one 1/2 draft, and one swayback retired therapy horse. But no Friesians, which is what she’s been watching videos of lately. She already “has” a sheep, Flip, the bellwether that she got too attached to during Lambing 2018, he’s a sweetie. Why she can’t like chickens like a normal person I don’t understand...

How goes project Barnvelder?

OHHHH Standarbreds!!! My second favorite right after Tennessee Walkers! You can ship one of those to my house with a bow on it for Christmas...:D

Maleficent left me a Present

Maleficent was at the backdoor again today, surprise, surprise.

This time when I did not let her in, she left me a present.

That grove to the right is where the door seals. I can't figure out how she got her butt that close to the door? Is she a contortionist too?!

I'm sympathetic on the Friesian obsession. I'm more into English style Arabians myself, but Friesians are wonderful.

Akk! No! The evil dynamic duo!

We must keep them apart at all costs or they will be hatching an evil plan to take over the world, and all the mealy worms, together!!!

:lau
Janet instructed me to find out if they've got a private group. She wants in.

Psssst please don't let her in.

One is in her mid 30’s, and the other is a jerk... he isn’t well socialized and needs worked with daily by one person to keep him in line, or he gets aggressive, bites, and he will roll on his rider. You’re welcome to come take him! He can’t be Pastured with the other three because he bites and kicks them... even big Donnie, our Draft mix, was getting beat up too much, I don’t think being alone and not getting regular people attention does Raymond (the jerk) any good. I should take some pictures of them. They free range the lower half of our property near the house and down the road by the vineyard.

Wow, is it Christmas already? What a lovely present :sick Maybe you'd better give her some pocket money and drop her off at the shops before she starts giving presents to everyone else.

We definately don't want that. I still can't figure out how she got it there. The physics don't work.

Project Barnevelder has started. I had 6 of the pullet's to pick my 3 from, so I took the best darker laced one's. They are settled in as well as possible for right now. It's been raining off and on and it's windy out there. I'm in the house now with a hot cup of coffee.
