Maybe she’s broody!
It's got to be too cold for her to do that.

Oh, no! No! No more broody hens!Maybe she’s broody!
I don't care what people say, I think snow falling like this is pretty and putting up with the inconvenience would be a great opportunity for me to develop patience and calm. I've experienced snow only three times so far, but I loved it every time. When I take my retirement long boat holiday I hope the snow falls for me.Free Ranging is Over
I noted over on @Ribh thread that it was supposed to snow today. Well, free ranging is now over.
Thought I’d share a couple of photos from our garden. The avocado tree is self-seeded and has taken years to fruit. I bought two Frangipani trees from Gumtree, one is going really well, it’s twin not so much. At least it’s alive though, not like the George Brown and Blood Sun I bought from near the QLD border and transported down. $100 for two baby trees and they both carked it last year!

It's a very curious voice. I wonder if the cold has caused it somehow? I'm no expert, but I can't think of any chicken ailments that cause a deep voice. That's the plan right now. Maybe she just entered puberty?
Look at those avos!!! Wow, they look amazing. How tall is the tree? Do the fruit hang low enough for easy picking?Thought I’d share a couple of photos from our garden. Beautiful trees. I've never seen an avocado tree like that before.

One of my frangis is bursting with flowers at present too! So fragrant. It's a species frangi, nothing special. I have a pink one thriving too, but no flowers yet.
