That is too cute!!!Found one from 2018. Now I just say “C’mon, Girls. Let’s go in!” and try to a vapid saying treats, but you get the idea.
Perfect! You can never start making a farmer out of her too soon!!!
She is 4.5 hours from us by car. Not really a day trip.
They will briefly come out for food/water and today they came out for awhile when I was painting the coop. They seem better today. It takes a while for chickens to adjust to a big change. They don't like any change at all. So, yes, they are stressed. They will come out in time. Are they accessing food and water? That would be the only thing I would really worry about.
Thank you!Congrats!
Didn't I warn you not to show her pictures of those diapers? Mustve slipped my mind! LolI'm more worried about her permitting this than myself. She loves ALL animals and is now frequently taking about chicken diapers. I am actually concerned that this would support her arguments for chickens in the big coop.

Tonight they are roosting in a different order: Left to Right is Maggie, Diana, Elizabeth. Maggie and Elizabeth switched order leaving Diana in the middle. No squabbling, just 'mixing it up'. I noticed they started this after we lost Scary. Seems like there isn't a stable order now there is only 3 of them. Very strange.View attachment 2017372
