It was a beautiful day today at Fluffy Butt Acres. Lots of stuff got done. New Daisies got planted on Daisy's grave.

Daisy rests between my two column apple trees. The trees were converted in blossoms today.

It was such a beautiful day that we took a moment, retrieved the 1985 Alfa from the storage unit and cruised around the development.

As the sunset today, Sydney wanted to come visit before bedtime. She is really a sweetie.

Thanks. I've never seen apple trees like them anywhere else. I bought them on clearance in the fall one year. They were called columnar or patio apple trees. You were supposed to be able to grow them in a planter and they would not spread out, just grow straight up. I got them for a song so I figured why not. They do pretty much grow straight up. I did not have room in the yard for traditional trees so I tried these.

I have gotten about 30 apples off the two trees, Granny Smith, at peak production.

The car is special. Its been my project for years. I improve it a little every year. Here it is from the side.

Fluffy Butt action
This afternoon the Princesses were out on work detail again in the vegetable garden. They are still working the same raised bed. They take their work very seriously, so there was lots of Fluffy Butt action:

And after a hard afternoon's work everyone was happy to run back to the Chicken Palace

While the Princesses were hard at work in the enclosed bed, I was planting my seedlings (beans, squash and corn) in the next bed over.
A good day was had by all.

I love watching chickens run!

That's a 1985. Last year for the old analog dashboard and wooden steering wheel with no airbag. It's old school and I love it for that. No power steering.
