Now that we are all recommended to wear Burkas I thought I would share my latest. I didn't want to go with the full on black job and someone I know in the village knocked this up.
I have to wonder now having outlawed Burkas in UK schools how they're going to get around these.:p

I did threaten to ride it down the stairs and out the front door. I wouldn't have made it. The handlebars wouldn't have got through. :p
I might have but without the bike.:lau
I don't know anything about bikes but if you do you might be interested to know Dad rode an Indian for years. I think it was a military bike but I'm not sure. His sister used the frame as *fill* when she built herself a set of cement steps. 😧

Very nice. I need to sew myself a couple. So far I have done without and simply not gone out. But I don’t suppose I will manage to stay like that for a year so I am looking for fabric to deploy. I am thinking tie-dye would be fun to do again!

Mad as a Wet Hen
As to the phrase, "mad as a wet hen". Mine actually seemed fine with the readin yesterday so that got me interested in where that apparently false saying came from. I will admit that most sayings about chickens seem to actually be true. So that made me more curious about the origin of this particular phrase. Here is what I found out when researching it.

I think the Australian version is “mad as a cut snake”.

Yes I should be back to work around the 18th. Things have been good we've been working on projects around the house.

I want to name one of my new babies Hattie, but I feel it may be to confusing, so would Mrs. BY Bob allow one to be named Rose, after her?

Oh my gosh. Mrs BY Bob was so excited she started tearing up. She would love it. Please do. You are one of the sweetest people I know.
:love

They look so miserable wet.:hit
I love how they change their stance and look more "duck like" by dropping their tails down top let the water run off. The ironic thing is that mine love being out in the rain as long as it's not too hard. They just look awful. :gig

Thought you might like this @BY Bob
Much to my partners horror I built this in our living room.

I love it! Where else would you build it? Did you tell her you built it there so you spend time with her as you did it? You wanted to stay close to her?

How long did it take you?
