I believe she would. She loves to scratch.Hmmm, do you think she would enjoy bushwalking? Lots of leaf litter to dig through.

Or walk behind one!I think she'd love it. Especially if she was allowed to look at a waterfall!
You are more likely to get salmonella from kissing your birds. I really hope no one is making out with their flocks!
BY Bob, can you tell us more about this disease?
Why of course I can. Glad you asked.
Psittacosis is mostly transmitted through dust from dried feces. It can survive for months in dried feces. In the states people primarily get it from cleaning up after caged birds. Mortality in chickens varies greatly, 5 to 40 %. In case anything would happen, treat with Tetracycline (200-800 ppm in feed for 3-4 weeks)
Red cabbage causes lime green poo. Have you fed them any red cabbage? I bet other items that are colored can cause green poo as well.
Other symptoms to look for:
Most of these symptoms are fairly generic. There are vaccines if you are really worried.
- Respiratory signs
- Depression.
- Weakness.
- Not eating.
- Weight loss.
- Nasal discharge.
- Conjunctivitis.
I just can't help myself. Thanks ByBob, I hoped you would enlighten me but I didn't like to ask![]()

It's tomorrow, so...As of last night ...The roos were fighting with Jaffar. My friends decision to buy the Texas house fell thru. Connie wanted to have me over again, but it was late, and I don't eat sweets or drink coffee after 19;00hrs. to get more feed today, for the chickens.(some fresh feed) Around 21:00hrs, I heard ambulances, police, and fire trucks pass by on the highway. We normally don't get much action around here, but some driver killed a kid on a bicycle, and just drove off. I hope that satisfies your interests in why I said it was gonna be a "Weird day"Not tonight, the whole day isn't over yet. I will report tomorrow.
Good catch. Mine love a warm bath. A nice way to start the dayI don't know about cabbage poo coloring, I'm no s@#$ expert, but "Sunshine" 3 yr old New Hampshire Red had pasty butt this morning, so I took her inside and gave her a bath to clean her all up. She's here wrapped in a warm towel, (probably wondering, what just happened?) A princess shouldn't be wearing poop on her fluffy butt!PS: I check all my birds at sunrise, sometimes even earlier.
Good morning peeps!
