Mal did not like it either. It only took 2 nights. She'll be OK but it's hard.

Oh, gosh, I just realized I never pressed post on this!

I just went out with a headlamp to make sure Millie wasn’t too stressed. Relieved and happy to report she seems fine.

So tomorrow I guess I’ll put her carrier in the run and put her feed back in with her. I may provide a couple jail breaks throughout the day. I have a board medting that starts at 4:00pm and could go past sunset, so they may not get any free range time tomorrow.

I have been working all hours and barely have time to check in here. I got a 20 min break and tried to make progress on the Chicken Palace pasture run (still working on the wire for security). Diana and Maggie supervised from inside the Palace.

Elizabeth is out of the shot digging a very deep hole. I think she is planning on digging all the way to Australia. She wants to visit BYC chook friends!

If she comes out near me I will give her a tour of the local sights and send her back with a jar of Vegemite!

May 20th

May 20th has historically been a good day for the members of Fluffy Butt Acres. Let's review.

Mr. Peabody, set the way back machine for 2017.

This was one of the best chicken days ever at Fluffy Butt Acres. The yard inside the fence has grown way too high. I decided that before I cut it, I would let the ladies have at it. What resulted was a great day of grazing and napping the likes of which have never been seen again. Here are the girls, the big three in all their glory, enjoying a magnificent day in the high grass.

The coop was complete and the pullets moved out of the house into it. A grand day for them. Here are 3 of the first 6 ladies to live at Fluffy Butt Acres.

I need ideas. I’m trying to tell mum she should adopt me a brumby so I can break it in myself! @Aussie-Chookmum u have no idea how close u and I live. Like I obviously can’t give away the exact location but depending on what part of the mountains ur from I can say I’d be like 1 to 1 1/2 hrs away
