I disagree with the Jackman method.

For me it's wholemeal seedy bread, lightly toasted, cooled (that's always the most contentious part of the MJ method), thick butter-not-marge, thin vegemite. Paired with a cup of tea. Perfect.
Vegemite is a very individual thing: toast [seedy/grain, lightly toasted] needs to be warm, definitely butter, not marg ~ & spread thin; very thin. With coffee. 😋

Aaaargh! You beat me to it MJ!

"Oi Mum! Why are you taking photos of my butt? Pervert!"
Me: "It's for a friend!....Wait, that sounds worse..."

I'm afraid Pepper would not stand for me crouching behind her with a camera :idunno
Tsuki's tail is really unusual! It's like a banner.

And don't forget a perfectly soft-boiled egg with that!

Casting a Long Shadow

I found this photo of Sydney from a while ago. She was casting a long shadow that morning. :love

Rather warm out there today.
Tribe 1 have decided that the Black Thorn bush provides good enough cover at this heat level at least to be preferable to being in the house. The bush catches the breeze that blows up the valley most days and they are fairly well hidden underneath it. Not much is going to try to dive through it and they are close to the house in case of emergencies and of course, food and water.
To be honest this is great for me. I do love having them in the house but the clean up work is major when they all troupe in.

I love this. My husband would have a heart attack if I let them come in snd out of the house whenever they wanted. And... the flies. We’d have lots of flies in the house if it were wide open.
