I’m wondering if Clementine will look similar to Aurora when grown...? It’s amazing how much their color changes.. This is Maggie as a baby and now grown... I would have never guessed she’d have so much black.. it was hard for me to tell who was who looking at the baby pics...View attachment 2165454View attachment 2165455View attachment 2165456View attachment 2165457View attachment 2165458View attachment 2165459View attachment 2165460

What a stunner!!!

@CrazyChookChookLady says you only wanted brown eggs.
Don't your girls only lay white? (sorry, not trying to rub it in Bob )

That means the fertile eggs are already "marked" yes?
I now have 5 brown layers, if you count Lilly and Phyllis who lays a white egg. It is still open to debate if Aurora's egg is pink or brown. The three from @CrazyChookChookLady blend right in. :gig

He wanted brown so he wouldn't be tempted to keep anything that hatched from a green egg. He didn't want to be tempted into keeping any more. He's at his chicken limit! LOL

I'll be bringing home the females once Sydney has raised them for a while. The boys will be rehomed.

Hello Pam :frow

ByBob's thread is very friendly and cosy. Like drinking hot chocolate in front of the fire on a cold evening while swapping stories of chickens with friends. 🤗☕

I have put my five hen's names and breeds in my signature below. Tsuki and Deana are both 4 1/2 years old, Alice and Edwina are both 15 months and Pepper is 11 1/2 months.
Nobody is laying eggs at the moment 😢
I will have to have a word with them...
UFLC labour stoppage? You might need to have a conversation with their shop leader.

This might be the nicest thing ever said about something I've been involved in. All of you make this true. We have self-selected a wonderful group of people who love to chat about their chickens. I'm glad to have you all here.
