Aussie-Chookmum
Obeying her avian masters
It really does. I think everyone here knows that feeling. And the guilt that goes along with "if only I'd done x"It only seems I haven't had any luck with my flock lately. 6 birds gone in 3 months. Raising them over these years took patience, strength and a lot of loving. I feel as if I lose part of myself when I lose any of my beloved pets.
But we all do our best for our birds and they have good lives with us no matter how long or short a time that may be.
That's why most of us have them I think. So we have eggs from happy chooks, so we don't support cage farming. We love them and receive joy from them while they are with us. That's a good thing in the long run.
