I found Sidney like this when we got home.

I could not hear anything fron the eggs but she was tuk, tuk, tuk.

Maybe she can hear them and is talking to them?

Thanks! Needless to say I am wasting loads of time just hanging out with them. And then I do the same with the big ladies because I don't want them to get jealous. So there has been a lot of chicken time this weekend.

Chicken time is never a waste!

Besides, you are not wasting time any way. You are socialising them!

Oh I am so happy that really I was filled with determination and purpose as I sat on my seat in the Chicken Palace making gooey 'chick chick' noises and let the babies peck at my fingers.

Oh I am so happy that really I was filled with determination and purpose as I sat on my seat in the Chicken Palace making gooey 'chick chick' noises and let the babies peck at my fingers.

That is how you "tame" them for lack of a better word. If you want your chickens to accept you and want to be around you, you must spend time with them. You need to do it as much as possible.

Of course I find as a side benefit I am a much calmer, happier person the more time I spend with them. They are good for you as well.

O and never forget, treats help too!

I was thinking that too. It is less "friendly" than Phyllis' selfie. Aurora seems menacing with that beard.
