Can you give us a time stamp in the video when you think you hear it? I picked up on a couple of very high pitched, faint blasts of 'cheeeeeep'. I've no idea what I'm really listening for though.

I do believe that is a chick I hear! It’s a little hard to tell with the background noise, and remember you can hear eggs chirp too! So she might not be out yet

Kris thanks so much. I laid the phone in with the eggs so it is the eggs making the sound. They have not broken yet, no pips.

Kris replied as well. I am picking them up at these points.

:13, :27, :32, :35, :41, :46, :52, :55. The last four are the most loud and line up with Kris' times. The earlier ones are more faint.

Next time I'm turning off the pool pump.

I love the name and your hens & rooster are beautiful. I guess after 5 yrs my coop needs a name so I'll be thinking of a good one then I'll post pics of my coop and my hens and roosters but I love yours and I look forward to more stories & pics. I think I'm going to love this group.
