I did not do a necropsy, mainly because he was stiff til I found him and Anna was there. I sent him along with some sunflower seeds, they were his favorite.

Good stuff that is! We use a lot of that at my work for corneal abrasions.

I had the worst kind of surprise when I got home last night. I found Sunny dead in the chicken run. He had been perfectly fine in the morning. It looks like he just fell over dead. Anna was sad, he was one of the classroom chicks. but she understandsView attachment 2222158 that these things happen.

So long Sunny, fly high!

Farewell Sunny the classroom chicken. He didn't live long but he had a great life, starting out with teaching children.

Good stuff that is! We use a lot of that at my work for corneal abrasions.

First time I've used it. I can't remember what Fudge got for her eye problem. I try to keep a record of all the medications and where I got them for future reference.

Daisy is laying!!! She laid her first egg yesterday. She just laid her 2nd one a few minutes ago and let the world know it. Had every chicken on the place tore up. The first one is small but the new one is already bigger then Henrietta's who lays my biggest eggs.

That's a good broad spectrum antibiotic. It feels like a good choice to me.
