Chickens Fly, and so do Chicks

today was pretty wild at Fluffy Butt Acres and it all started with these two videos. The first one is long but don't quit too early or you will miss the payoff.

This video is sweet because Ned/Nanette tries to join his/her Mum.

I saw that but how do I override the little ones!

I really like the 4th one down from the top. It is a lovely clear image of both girls & the clover *pops*. I love your chicks, but honestly, they'll spend most of their lives as chickens & that's their real beauty for me. I am probably alone in this but I actually prefer adult birds. All their feathering & personality is there.

I'm just chick obsessed right now. You are probably right.

Glad I wasn't the only one.

Had to chime in . I'm way behind (100 pages) but when I went back to the pic I see what Aart and Shadrach see too . Maybe it was a stick but it sure looks like a very small garter snake to me . ps I did catch up on everyone else's thread but ByBob's thread is moving at like 20 pages a day !! I am enjoying the hatch and baby chick stories

Ok so now I had to go back and look. It appears to be a snake-like poo mixed with the straw that you all saw. That is too funny. I can imagine it as a snake now.

I'm still seeing a Ned rather than a Nanette. Be interesting to see how they turn out.
