BEN is not one, to fly over any fence. It's very much a puzzle as to how he could just disappear this way. I'm still in a state of shock. I have checked the perimeter for any sign of a breach, or holes dug under the fence anywhere.He sure was a good rooster!

No, they're great. The "don't disturb neighbours" is a council policy. I could ask all the immediate neighbours ahead of time and most would be ok with a rooster. But a rooster would be heard by literally a hundred or so people. I don't need that many people hating me and reporting me to the council.
It's a bittersweet moment. No doubt Ned and Lucky are very frightened in the car and they don't know that they're going to such a lovely home. But I'm very happy for them

Yes! But I can't imagine it can go on much longer - they really barely fit. Each night it is a miracle to me that they can squeeze up there.
I agree, it can't go on much longer. And then you'll be free of the window poop until next time some juniors decide it's a roost.
