One Year Ago Today

As you all know, I like to do look backs. A year ago today was a very significant day. It was Eve's open heart surgery. We were so blessed that it all went so well. As proof, here is Eve from yesterday showing off her mobility.

It’s so good to see her going about her toddler business.

OMG a whole flock of black chickens. How wonderful!

I believe Minnie is Minnie. The color of her hackles make them look like they are more pointed then they are. Plus the saddle feathers are round as well.❤

I took a photo of Lucy’s hackle feathers this morning. They’re pointed but they’re not long. Maybe that’s the difference?

I know I’ve posted these pics before but thought I’d share again since yall were talking Eagles! Where we used to live I’d see them all the time and obviously up close... there was a big pond next to our house and this one swooped down and got a fish.. he ate it in a nearby tree and I got some pics... I was pretty close to it... so sad such poor quality though! They are truly majestic!!
