I have 1 coop camera that has sound. The other 5 do not. I recently added another camera and since I purchased mine originally, they have added sound to them. I love it. It is an Arlo wireless security camera system. I believe @RoyalChick bought the same system but all of her cameras have sound since it's newer. Mine are about 5 years old now, maybe 6.

If you are thinking about getting one, buy more cameras up front. I only bought 2 and now have 6. It's much cheaper if you get them up front but the system is not cheap. It's not ridiculously expensive but it does cost a bit.
Yes - I got Arlo. It struck me as expensive and so I made the mistake of only getting a few cameras - definitely better to get lots to begin with. I am up to 7 and will hijack one for genuine security reasons on the front door. All the rest look at chickens or chicken predators!

Or @micstrachan you could look into Wise cam (spell?) ... they are good and inexpensive!

I have a pair of homo parakeets 😳😄... they haven’t tried any funny business but they are definitely paired up and do all the pre mating rituals! And leave the two lone gals wondering!!

When my parents first met my (future) in-laws, we were at their place for lunch. My MIL had been telling me about the ducks and their same-sex relationship so I asked how they were. She said “They’re out the back, would you like to see them?” So we all trooped out and there they were in their little clam-shell pond, doing the business! My MIL thought they were a male and a female until one of them got trapped outside at night and they both laid an egg in the different locations!

I love stories of animals in same sex relationships. How about those Bonobo monkeys! (Or are they apes?) if I'm recalling correctly, their sexual practices encompass the whole rainbow 🌈
