LeghornsSame! However, Leghorns are “flighty,” but are also super friendly in my experience. I do already see the flightiness in Flash, even though she cuddles, too.

The bigger one, actually. The other EE has been laying for a month, but Vanilla’s egg was quite large.
I bet a personal delivery is in order.
@CrazyChookChookLady , if you are bringing chicks for Ribh, I hope you are bringing enough for the rest of the class. Me, MJ and Lozzie would like some too!I'll deliver them for the small fee of airfare for me and my +1!!

There! Made it just in time. Now I've got to think about just who's fluffy butt that is.
I think it's Tackle.

I'm still waiting for a carrier pigeon...Welcome back, stranger. We have been watching for smoke signals.
I have a mental image of her getting off the plane wearing a garment with dozens of pockets and a little chick face peaking out from each one.@CrazyChookChookLady , if you are bringing chicks for Ribh, I hope you are bringing enough for the rest of the class. Me, MJ and Lozzie would like some too!
Trapped! You'll just have to sit quietly with a cuppa and a good book. Such a pity!
Your dreams sound excellent I hope you are able to fulfill them one day @micstrachan .Someday in the future, maybe in retirement, I’d like to have a really healthy flock with good genes. I’d have to research where to get them and would like a dedicated flock guardian dog so they could free range more. I’d also like the rooster experience someday, but I’m not sure in what capacity. One flock rooster? Tribes like Shad? A separate rooster flock? I just don’t know. It’s fun to dream, though!
You're not the only one...Oh, goodness me! I’ve created two pages just from my replies. Sorry! Just trying to keep up.
