My Obsessions

Aside from my true obsession with white chickens (leghorns especially) everyone knows I very much wanted colored eggs when I got Maleficent and Aurora. I try to call Aurora's eggs pink but we all know the truth. (Sometimes self delusion is not pretty). Why do I want colored eggs? Just look at what they would add to my "assortment".

They are becoming quite the couple. Did Ned let her have some?

I loved how quickly Phyllis get's back up and looks around. (hoping nobody saw her do that)

She is very agile. I had to laugh this morning. She was on the footstool and went to stretch her wings and wound up taking flight somehow. She went straight up and landed startled on the ground. Scared the crap out of me and her.

I needed my Jaffar fix this morning, so as soon as I heard his first crow, I was out in the barn/coop holding him, and giving him hugs. (The hens must think I'm crazy)
