I wish Canna’s tail would grow back. She has only one feather on it

I think the saddest Chickens without tails due to molting are the Roosters... they always seem so sad when they are missing those long tail feathers.

I agree. They seem stumpy. Like 1/3 of them is missing.

Sounds like a good method to me. Scattered crumbles would be difficult for them to eat cleanly. Scattering pellets makes more sense.

Mine scatter their own crumbles and then eat them off the ground.
